Spa Itzá Director Sharon Sedgwick founded Spa Itzá with a dedication to healing, wellness and rejuvenation that goes beyond the fashionable. She directly oversaw all aspects of the spas design, equipment, therapies and training of staff. Spa therapy providers are highly qualified and hand selected, according to Sedgwick. "Our emphasis is on quality and authentic therapies throughout the Spa, from personnel, equipment, and décor, to spa services and products."
From the moment one meets Sharon, foraging in the local jungle in search of indigenous products to incorporate into her menu of native Mayan treatments, the founder and director of Spa Itzá immediately sets her apart form imitators.
